A letter on the occasion of our
25th Anniversary:
In 1991, the year in which Global Strategies was founded, the term “global” was not yet one of frequent use and that of ‘Corporate Diplomacy’ was entirely unknown.
Thanks only to the vision of a few prominent corporate leaders, Global Strategies was able to offer advice to important companies and institutions and take part in projects of a national and international importance. I wish to express my deepest gratitude to those who at the time placed their trust in an innovative and unprecedented proposition.
Today, 25 years later, Corporate Diplomacy is a concept which has become familiar to the business world and has a promising future: although the challenges are very different to those faced in the past, the role of Diplomacy – in its different aspects – continues to be irreplaceable.
In 1991, Global Strategies was several decades ahead of its time and is now working on new scenarios which enable us to continue to make a difference.
