Madrid, March 2016.-

Last 28 March, the Founder and major shareholder of Inditex celebrated his eightieth birthday. Continuing with his usual routine, Amancio Ortega arrived at the main offices of the Group to discover a surprise party organised by the managers, employees and workers of the Group, which included the showing of a tribute-video on the creator of the empire which has revolutionised the fashion industry worldwide.

A tribute coordinated by his daughter Marta very much in advance, which included extremely moving moments, as has been shown in the media and social media, one month after the event.

Global Strategies, a firm closely linked with Inditex for close to two decades now, also conveyed its best wishes personally to Amancio Ortega through our chairman, Antonio Camuñas.
