THE REFUGEE CRISIS AND THE VOLUNTARY SOLIDARITY FUNDS, ON THE AGENDA OF THE COUNCIL
International Council of the Centesimus Annus Foundation
Madrid, May 2016.-
The International Council of the Pro-Pontiff Centesimus Annus Foundation met in the Vatican City last week, before the International Conference was opened.
At the headquarters of the APSA, the Council discussed various matters included in the Agenda of the Foundation.
Following the guidelines of the Holy Father, the Council paid special attention to the refugee crisis and the Voluntary Solidarity Funds, an initiative presented by Josef Bonnici, Governor of the Central Bank of Malta.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Domingo Sugranyes, Chairman of the Foundation; Dr. Camila Borghese, Vice-chairperson thereof; Lord Daniel Brennan; Dr. Grazia Bottiglieri; Dr. Massimo Gattamelata; Dr. Joseph Zahra; Dr. Francesco Vanni d'Archirafi; Dr. Cesare Trevisani; Dr. Antonio Guicciardini; Dr. Linda Gilli and Mr. Antonio Camuñas.
