Annual Conference of the Centesimus Annus Foundation
Madrid, May 2016.-
Under the chairmanship of Mr. Domingo Sugranyes Bickel, the Pro-Pontiff Centesimus Annus Foundation has held its International Conference "Business initiative in the fight against poverty: the refugee emergency, our challenge", attended by notable representatives of the academic, university, business, financial and political worlds, as well as of various international organisations.
The sessions, held in the Aula Nuova of the Synod, have included the interventions of relevant members of the Vatican Curia such as the Prefect of the Vatican Ministry of the Economy, Cardinal George Pell and the Chairman of the Administration of the Apostolic Heritage of the Holy See, Cardinal Domenico Calcagno.
