OBAMA’S VISIT IN THE HOURS PRIOR TO HIS ARRIVAL IN MADRID
Madrid, July 2016.-
The chairman of Global Strategies stressed the fact that Obama was the first American president to visit Spain in the last 15 years as result of the differences between both countries in recent years.
The president’s visit, coinciding with the NATO Summit in Warsaw, also serves to underscore the role of Spain as a strategic partner of the Alliance since the resurgence of the so-called “Arab Spring”, and to seal the full normalisation of diplomatic relations with our country at the highest level.
